I’ve been a Vice President for five years now, after working my way up from washing cranes and trucks in the yard. Later, I worked in
lifting and
rigging. Now I get to see the company as a whole, including
safety, sales, and financials. Most of my work is still in project development, though, creating solutions for each client’s needs. I was taught that nothing is impossible, so that’s always interesting. The best thing is being able to work with all kinds of clients and be on their team. For the future, I hope to cement our leading position by building on our capabilities as a fully integrated, one-stop shop. The key is to understand everyone’s role in the company, and to make sure they’re set up to succeed. Communications with the staff are good, which helps us meet internal challenges. The partners are together on this: we come from the same place and share a passion to get it right.
